I worked at International Paper with John. He was an outstanding gentleman, team player and very knowledgeable. His patience with people was something we could all appreciate. He was truly an outstanding person. He will be sorely missed.

I knew John from International Paper; we worked together in the COE.  John always had a smile and a kind word for everyone.  He was a good man and a great person to work with.  Prayers for his family.

My heartfelt condolences to John’s family. I served with John on the military side, and worked with him on the civilian side. He was an outstanding person in both settings. His smile was just the best. Rest in peace, my Brother.

I knew John from International Paper. He will always be remembered for being a true gentleman and one of the nicest people I had the pleasure of knowing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

John was truly the nicest person anyone could know.  I had the pleasure of working with John when we first started at IP.  John will never be forgotten by anyone who knew him.  Praying for John’s family I know you have many wonderful memories to hold onto.  May God bless and keep you all.

John Purdy was so loved and respected by so many people at IP. He had a smile that was contagious and warming.  I was assigned to the Northeast region as a customer service rep and he was the most experienced rep on the team . He took me under his arms with patience and understanding. I was his backup for his accounts and unfortunately he would go out on military leave that would be for weeks at a time. I was super nervous to handle his Northeast customers but he reassured me that I would do great. He would call me Kathy Lee because I didn’t have a middle name -lol.  Lord knows he will be missed and I’m 🤲 for his family because he was a good person. 🥲🙌🏽

I loved working with John at International Paper.  He was always so kind and positive with everything he did.  I will never forget his laugh.  He was an exceptional man and I am
so thankful I knew him.
