John David Ray

John David Ray, 78, of Memphis went to his eternal home on May 5, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Priscilla Ray; daughter, Anita Resko; and granddaughter, Brandy Resko. His survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann Sisk Ray; daughters, Kimberly Ray of Memphis, Chrissy Brunger, Kelly Conley both of Lorain, OH; sons, John Jr., and Brian Ray of Oneida, TN; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Ray of Munford, TN; and sister, Janie Noe of Memphis, TN. John was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Family will receive guests from 1 to 2 pm at St. Stephen United Methodist Church with funeral service to follow at 2 pm. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Brunswick, TN immediately following the service. All memorials may be sent to the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation, St. Stephen United Methodist Church or Golden Cross Senior Ministries.
