John Ed Reves, 85, of Memphis, retired Memphis Police Department Captain, passed away November 10, 2010 at the Waverly Gardens in Memphis. He was a member of Colonial Baptist Church. He is survived by sons, Bobby Eugene Reves (Kay) of Germantown, TN and Joseph M. Reves (Robbie) of Collierville, TN; grandchildren, Justin B. Reves (Amanda) and Benjamin T. Reves; and one great-grandchild, Sophia Reves. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens – Poplar Avenue.
