John Lowell Trammell, 69, passed away on April 12, 2016 in Sun City Center, Florida. John was born in Memphis, TN, and worked as a property assessor for the Shelby County Tennessee Assessor's Office.
John fulfilled a dream to retire to Florida, and lived in Sun City Center, where he was the beloved life partner of Sharon Korfhage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl H. Trammell, Jr. and Delois (Gibson) Trammell, his brother, Bobby J. Trammell, and an infant daughter, Mellessa Jean Trammell.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2016 at Family Funeral Care in Memphis, TN. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday April 19, 2016 also at Family Funeral Care with burial to follow at Memphis Memory Gardens on Raleigh Lagrange.
