Johnnie Marie Youngblood

Johnnie Marie Youngblood, 86, died on June 3, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital of Memphis, Tennessee. Ms. Youngblood was born in Sardis, Mississippi on the 4th of October, 1929 to the late Mr. & Mrs. McClough. Johnnie was also preceded in death by her spouses Howard M. Thomas, Sr. and Mac Youngblood; her son Howard M. Thomas, Jr., and her siblings. Her family cordially invites you to a gathering for family and friends on Tuesday, the 7th of June beginning at nine o'clock in the morning until her service begins at ten o'clock all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Funeral procession will follow to Memphis Memory Gardens and Dr. Garry Burkacki will lead all services. The legacy of Ms. Youngblood is lived on through her children Daphne (Ronald) Jones of Missouri City, Texas and Willie (Amy) Thomas of Memphis, Tennessee; grandchildren Tiffany (Jay) Aubuchon of Bernard, Texas, Heather (Steven) Friedman of Sugarland, Texas, Jennifer (Greg) Simpson of Cypress, Texas, Jason (Misty) Thomas of Sugarland, Texas, Marshall Thomas of Horn Lake, Mississippi, and Anne Marie, Katie and Brock O'Malley all three of Jackson, Tennessee; great-grandchildren are Shelby, Savannah, Alyssa, Anjali, Leif, Liam, Lincoln, Gabriella and Dalton. Ms. Youngblood would ask any memorial contributions in her honor be given to; St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
