Josephine Bennett

When you met Josephine Bennett, and saw her beautiful smile and sparkling eyes, you knew you were meeting someone filled with love. Mom loved people, definitely loved animals, and if she could she would fix every problem that anyone had!!

Her creative abilities were incredible!! From sewing beautiful clothes for her children, to decorating her home beautifully, cooking was a favorite...many times my sister and I would come home from school to be met with the most wonderful aroma of a newly baked cake or cookies!! What wonderful memories!!

She was a wonderful example of how you should dress as she was always impeccably dressed when going to church, etc. She was sure to go out with her makeup and hair done to perfection!

She was a Godly woman that ensured that her children would grow up with knowing Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord!!

Her family of 2 daughters, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-children, do mourn losing her today.....but rest in complete confidence that she is no longer confined to a wheelchair..but walking and chatting her beloved ones that left this earth before her....and is truly experiencing the holy worship of our Lord as only one can when finally seeing the glory of His face; and the majesty of Heaven!

My heart misses her to its depths, but I know one day, once again, I will feel her warm embrace and kisses on my cheek! And we, together, will worship the Lord in the most incredible manner!!

Mom, you will always be a huge part of me....and I praise God for allowing me to be one of your daughters!!
