She was preceded in death by her husband, William Pitts and two sisters, Edith Senn and Evelyn Andress.
She is survived by two daughters, Marlene (Jeff) Pfeifer and Kaye Pitts, grandchildren Thomas Hayes Jr. and Matthew Pfeifer and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 1, 2014 from 5-7 p.m.; funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 2 at 10 a.m. all at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel. Interment will follow at Old Monroe Cemetery in Pontotoc, MS
