

Juanita O. Brown 86, passed away Friday, October 25, 2013, in Collierville. Visitation: Sunday, November 10, 2013 3-5 pm Funeral: Monday, November 11, 2013 12:30 pm (visitation from 12:00-12:30 pm) with Rev. Jimmy Moffett officiating. Interment is in Alamo, TN. Mrs. Brown was born September 2, 1927, to Arthur L. and Hattie R. (Edwards) Bryson, Sr. She married Earl R. Walker Sr, and later married James A. Brown, Sr. Juanita loved to care for her family and many others. She retired from Poplar Plaza Cleaners after many years. She was a member of the Stage Road Church of Christ. She is survived by: daughter Becky Walker Hunt (Joe), sons: James "Sonny" A. Brown Jr (Kay), and Robert K. "Kevin" Brown, grandchildren: April, Cassandra, Jessica, Daniel, Jesse, Ryan, Joey, Laura, Jamie, Shannon, and Shelby, and(space) 6 great grandchildren. She also leaves a brother Arthur L. Bryson, Jr., a sister Frances L. Kail, a sister-in-law Bobbye Bryson, daughter-in-law Diane Walker, many nieces and nephews, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons Earl R. "Doc" Walker and Donald E. "Bubba" Walker, two brothers Joe E. Bryson and William "Billy Jack" C. Bryson, two sisters Edna I. Bryson, Kimbley and Sammie S. Bryson Tatum. Mrs. Brown will be remembered for her amazing memory and quick wit. The family wishes to thank Dr. Donald Gravenor and staff, the staff at Baptist Memorial and Baptist Trinity Hospice Care for their kind treatment of our mother and a special thank you to our cousin Mary Green for her loving care.
