

Judy Kay Stowe, age 81, of Bartlett, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Judy was born November 7, 1943 in Braggadocio, Missouri to Luther Coil White and Ida Lee Toy White. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James Monroe Stowe, Jr. of Memphis, Tennessee, her sister, Mary Beaver, her brothers, Jeff White, L.C. White, Donald White, and Joe D. White Sr.
Judy graduated from Hayti High School in 1961. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend of many. Judy loved being outside, sweeping her carport, cooking, doing crossword puzzles, and taking care of her family. She also was a huge Elvis fan and has every Elvis Album. Her favorite story is that she once dated Elvis' hairdresser.
She is survived by her children, Michelle Leigh Stowe and Melanie Luise Stowe Flowers; grandchildren, Lauren Nicole "Niki" Flowers, Dillon James Flowers, Allison Lee Flowers, and Jordan Layne Flowers; and one great-grandson, Oliver Dylan Flowers, along with her sisters-in-law, Shirley Price, Debbie Stowe, and Jean White and numerous nieces and nephews.
Everyone who knew her, loved her positive attitude, her beautiful, welcoming smile, and her warm embrace.
Growing up in a small town, she was the daughter of a convenience store owner and she was a cotton picker in Missouri.
