She was preceded in death by her son, David Michael Ratcliff.
Karen is survived by, mother, Barbara Griswold; daughter, Amy (Chuck) Clark; son, Philip Ratcliff (Savannah); son, Alexander Dowty; and grandchildren, Nathan Clark, Samuel Ratcliff, Gage Ratcliff, Silas Ratcliff, Frankie Ratcliff.
She was a very successful sales manager for Delta Foremost Chemical working there for almost 40 years.
Above all Karen loved to cook for friends and family. She enjoyed traveling and loved the beach. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was a member of the LSU Alumni Association.
Most of all she loved spending time with friends and family and being a grandmother.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 17 at 1:00pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
The graveside service will follow the service in Memorial Park Cemetery.
