Karlyn Sue Freels Maxwell, 64, passed away on July 1, 2015. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on August 27, 1950. She dedicated her life to taking care of children both in her home daycare and in church daycare. She was preceded in death by her parents, Junior Houston & Marie Floyd Freels, her foster parents, Jess & Lillian Meddings, and her sister Janet Meddings McDonald. She is survived by her husband, James Maxwell of Memphis; her sons, John (Tonya) Maxwell of Drummonds, TN, Harold (Marsha) Ziebold of Goshen, OH, Mark Ziebold and Nathan Ziebold, both of Cincinnati, OH; her sisters, Frances (Clyde) Freels of Jackson, OH, Linda Freels of Cincinnati, OH, Gladys (Herschel) Prather of Loveland, OH, Esther (Ernest) DeBoard of West Chester, OH, and Elsie (Dave) Arnold of Hamilton, OH; brother, Junior Houston Freels Jr of Cincinnati, OH; and 5 grandchildren. Family and friends will be celebrating her life at a memorial on Monday July 6, 2015 at 6:00 at Grace Community Church on Bartlett Road.
