Kathy Gerohn Givens

Kathy Gerohn Givens, 66, of Memphis, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020. Kathy was a Registered Nurse for nearly 40 years. She loved garage sales and music and enjoyed playing piano when able. Kathy loved flowers and enjoyed being outdoors. She absolutely adored her pets. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Givens and her grandparents, Cleat and Irma Crum and Charles and Myrtle Givens. Survivors include her husband, Jack King, her mother, Ila Givens, one son, Christopher King, three step-children, Alan King, Lisa King Brody, and Cindy King Menton, and her sister, Sheila Brown (Ron). She also leaves to cherish her memory her nieces, Mandy Ratliff (Brent) and Emily Tart (Michael), and her great-nephews, Evan and Luke Tart and Zach and Eli Ratliff. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, February 19, 2020 from 6-8pm and the funeral service will be held Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 10am, all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN.
