To the Family of LaDarius Lee:

LaDarius was a principal’s dream student. He was kind, respectful (even when he was upset) and a leader among his peers. Every interaction I had with LaDarius was a positive one. His gentle spirit will always be remembered. I will continue to pray for peace and comfort for all of you.

What can I say! His smile, kindness and gentle spirit has left an lasting impact on me as a Counselor. I always mentioned to LaDarius that I will be a High School Professional School Counselor when I was between positions. He would seat by my desk and just smile. He would agree and we just believed so when I was hired as Craigmont High School's 10th/11th grade counselor, he would stop by and remind me, "You told us, Mrs. Lovett-Odie". He will never be forgotten and heaven desire its ANGEL back. Now, he is smiling over us all. To the family, you guys will always be in our prayers at the Craigmont High School, home of the Chiefs!

I was in disbelief when I received the news. All of the Craigmont High family remembered how sweet Lazarus was. He ALWAYS had that beautiful smile. I can't remember him ever being unhappy. Ms. Lee, you have our prayers and our condolences.

I've only met you once but it feels like I've known you for years because of the love your mom proudly displayed. I've known your mom and her family since 2nd grade. It breaks my heart to hear of their loss. I encourage them to pray hardest when it's hardest to pray and the many friends you've may not have met will continue to pray for you.

Ladarius,
It's so crazy how life can turn and give you a curveball. I remember the day we reconnected and have been in each other's lives since. I used to tell people that if a week went by and I havent heard from you, I'm calling you! Thank you so much for being open, warm, caring, and just overall God's reflection of love. My family and I will miss you dearly. Know that I will always look out for your family and continue to build, just as you and your dad would have wanted us to! Love you more!

Amanda and family, Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers through this difficult time. There are really no words that I can say or write to ease your grief, but know this. It will get better with time and the memories that you have will always be there and bring smiles. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Ladarius was such a warm and gentle person. That smile.... that smile could light up the world. I know this hurt a lot of people but I hope that everyone can find comfort in the beautiful memories. I’m so grateful that I was able to experience a piece of him within his lifetime. Doodie was always and forever will be my favorite.
