Born November 8th 1946 and went to be with our Lord January 9th, 2019 at the age of 72. Larry is survived by his wife of 24 years, Elaine, and 4 children Jeremy Tincher (Stephanie), Marika Lahti, Donna (Michael Dent) and Alicia (Patrick Twele). He has 7 Grandchildren Adrian, Whitney, Jordan, Aubrey, Jaden, Garrett and Lexi Alba and one Great Grandchild Sebastian. He came from a very large family with 6 Brothers and 3 sisters. Jim, Helen, Mildred, Paul, Dean, Brenda, Danny, Terry and Timmy. He served in the US Navy for over 25 years and served on the SSN-678 Archerfish. Larry owned Tech Security and enjoyed golfing in his spare time. He was a huge Ohio State fan but that paled in comparison to him keeping up with his favorite athlete Chris Chiozza. He kept up with Chris from White Station High School to the University of Florida to now on the Capital City Go-Go in the NBA.
Visitation and service for Senior Chief Larry Tincher will be at St. Michael’s Catholic Church at 3863 Summer Avenue in Memphis, Tn on Friday January 18th. Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 followed by Mass at 11:30. Interment will be at Veterans Cemetery at 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road immediately after.
