

Lauren Ashley Greenway, 20 of Southaven, MS passed away September 4, 2013. Ashley graduated from Southaven High School with honors, where she had been MVP in girls Softball and soccer her senior year and All-Conference and Metro Softball. She also was team captain of her soccer team her senior year at Southaven High School.She won Best Offense Softball 2011 and Best of the preps selection 2011 as well as playing in the All-Star Game. She was attending Mississippi College in Clinton, MS., where she was a pre-nursing major, a member of the girls soccer and softball team, a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Ashley was a devout Christian and a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father Daron J. Greenway, her grandmother June Greenway and her grandfather Marx Katz. She is survived by her parents Arthur and Cynthia Cooper, one sister Amber (Matt) Montgomery of Conway, AR. One step sister Bailey Cooper, Southaven, MS, two step-brothers Finley Cooper of Southaven MS and Ron James of Memphis, TN. She is also is survived by grandmothers, Freddie Ussery of Ridgeland, MS and Suzette Katz of Memphis, TN She will be greatly missed by her loving Chihuahua, "Little Bit".
Family will receive friends at Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Southaven MS, Saturday September 7, 5 P.M. until 8 P.M., with services being held at Colonial Hills Baptist Church, Sunday September 8 at 3 P.M. Interment will take place at Memphis Memory Gardens on Raleigh-Lagrange, Rd Memphis Tn.
