Mr. Levy Holmes, 88, of Memphis, passed away October 20, 2015. Mr. Homes, A U.S. Navy Veteran, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leatha Holmes, a daughter, Jessie McLaughlin, and a brother, Ernest Holmes. He is preceded in death by his sons, James Holmes and Joseph Holmes, his parents, Kye and Sarah Holmes, as well has his siblings, Lillie Holmes, Kye Holmes III, Willie Holmes, Rosey Boyd, Margaret Riley, and Ruby Holmes. He also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as other loved ones. The family will receive friends from 9-10am Saturday, October 24, 2015 with a memorial service to follow at 10am, all at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Memphis.
