Linda Carolyn Pesce Keane, 74, of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away peacefully on December 11th, 2023 after a second battle with breast cancer. Her friends and family remained by her side, laughing, loving, and “having parties”.
Carolyn was born on July 6th, 1949 in Memphis, Tennessee, to amazing parents, Charlie and Mamie Pesce. She attended Blessed Sacrament Grade School and Immaculate Conception High School. During these years lifelong friendships were founded and continued to be a source of happiness and support for her throughout life. Carolyn attended Memphis State University and raised a slew of voracious Tiger fans.
Carolyn is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Timothy Keane of Bartlett, Tennessee, her sister Elizabeth Tartt of Southaven, Mississippi, as well as her children Ross (Caroline) Boswell of Nashville, Tennessee, Bradley (Lauren) Boswell of Memphis, Tennessee, Brooke (Robert) Jones of Richmond, Virginia, Benjamin (Jess) Boswell of Memphis, Tennessee, Jerry Keane of Lonoke, Arkansas, Chandra Johnson (Billy) of Jacksonville, Arkansas and six grandchildren whom she greatly adored- Cecilia Boswell, Landry Boswell, Bo Boswell, Ella Jones, Charlie Jones, and Jack Jones.
Carolyn lived her life with no regrets. She was unwaveringly dedicated to her family and spent her lifetime emulating hard work and success. This was ever apparent in her career. It began as a stay at home mother, then she transitioned full time into a financial career. She successfully passed the Series 7, right before the 1981 recession. Carolyn started her financial career at Vining Sparks, then at Prudential for many years before retiring from Morgan Keegan.
