Linda Wallace McCard, 60, was born in Memphis, Tn. June 29, 1953. She went to her Heavenly home on Friday, February 7, 2014. Linda was loved and cherished by all those who knew her. One of her greatest pleasures in life was serving in many ways at Wells Station Baptist Church. She taught classes of different ages for many years. Recently, Linda organized a ladies’ craft and quilting group. One of her favorite hobbies was her needlework. Linda is survived by her husband Scott McCard, her mother Louise Wallace and her sister Kathy Carlisle, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. She also leaves her mother-in-law Laverne McCard and her sister-in-law Jan McCard. Funeral services will be at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue Monday, February 10 at 10 AM. Visitation will be Monday from 9 AM till service time at the funeral home. Linda will be laid to rest at Memphis Memory Gardens.
