Lois Marie Shelton Massey, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on April 17, 2018. She was 79, having celebrated her birthday with family and friends on February 12. She was born in Ripley, Mississippi, the oldest child of the late Kyle and Marie Shelton. She is survived by her husband, Randy Massey; her daughter, Rochelle Coleman and husband, Steve; her son, Randall Massey and wife, Karen; her grandchildren, Chance and Cade Coleman, and Kate and Morgan Massey; and her siblings, Dewitt Shelton and wife, DeeDee, Martha Ann Bledsoe and husband, Ralph. Lois retired from Kroger after 39 years in human resources. She was an avid gardener and a talented artist. She enjoyed welcoming family and friends to her annual home garden show. Lois was a loving and kind wife, mother, and grandmother. She cherished time spent with family and friends. She was a member of White Station Church of Christ. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 20 from noon until the time of funeral services at two o’clock at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee.
