

Louise Rushing Fink was born on April 16, 1926, in McCrory, AR and passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, at the age of 100 in Memphis, TN where she had lived for over 80 years. She graduated from Laura Conner High School in Augusta, AR in 1944.
Louise loved Jesus and put everyone before herself. She was a loving wife, wonderful mom who was proud of her children, their spouses and grandchildren. She was a long-time member of Balmoral Baptist Church and as well as Glen Park Baptist Church before that where she taught kindergarten. She retired from The J. M. Smucker Company.
Her many interests included traveling around America (visiting every state except Wisconsin because a bridge was being repaired), trying new recipes (she was a great cook!), camping, sewing, babysitting and in later years playing Rummikub with friends.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Philip W. Fink, to whom she was married for 60 years. She leaves three children - two sons, Chuck Fink (Brenda) of Houston, TX and Mike Fink (Carol Tracy) of St. Louis, MO and a daughter, Janet Phillippi (Dennis) of Memphis, TN, plus many nephews and nieces.
She also leaves one grandson, Sam Fink of St. Louis, MO, five step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119, on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A family graveside service will be held on Friday, July 24.
