Louise Wallace (92) has joined her loved ones in her heavenly home. A longtime resident of Memphis, she moved to Denton, TX to live with her daughter Kathy Carlisle in 2015. Louise was a longtime
member of Colonial Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wallace, a son Wayne Wallace, and a daughter
Linda McCard, as well as two brothers and five sisters and her parents, Sid and Lillie Richardson of Rosston, Arkansas. Louise is survived by a daughter, Kathy Carlisle of Denton, TX and four grandsons, Jay Carlisle(Caryl), Bryant Carlisle, Aubrey Carlisle (Joy), and Nathan Carlisle. There are four surviving great grandchildren, Austin, Cameron, Caleb and Quinlyn Carlisle. She also leaves behind one brother-in-
law, and several sisters-in-law, as well as multiple nieces, nephews and cousins, whom she loved dearly.
During her lifetime Louise held many jobs: waitress, cashier, police crossing guard, etc. But the job she enjoyed the most was being a long-term Nanny to two local Memphis families,the Vansickles and Jamesons. Her other passions were cooking, quilting, and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. Louise will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Feb. 5th, 2024, at Family Funeral Care 4925 Summer, Memphis, Tn. at 1pm. Service will follow at 2pm on Feb. 5th 2024. Interment will follow afterwards at Memphis Memory Gardens.
For those wishing to make a donation in lieu of flowers, Louise's favorite charity was St. Jude Children's Hospital.
