My beloved Sister Lovie Tolbert will be missed by her loving family as well as your church family Resting in Peace Until The Appointed Time..In Jesus Name

We wish to send our deepest thoughts, prayers and condolences to Robert, the entire Tolbert family, and friends. I met Lovie while coaching Robert in basketball. She became an amazing friend over the years who I dearly loved and respected.  Lovie’s name  surely symbolized the size of her heart. We will never forget the positive impact and passionate memories that she left on us.  Lovie we know you are in a better place but you will live on forever through your memories and the many people who knew you.

It isn't always easy . . .

The Dardon Ave residents have lost a precious gem.  Mrs .Lovie was true example of  a good neighbor.  Just like “State Farm” she was always there.  Helping and doing whatever she could.   Mrs. Lovie was the only person that came over  to extend a warm welcome when I moved to Dardon 23  years ago.  During the peak of Covid, she made sure I knew of all the places that had bleach,  toilet paper, Lysol and other scarce products during that time.  Thanks to Mrs. Lovie,  I still have stock of tissues .   I’m grateful for the time I have known her and I will always remember and cherish the advice she’s given me over these years.   Gone from Dardon Ave but forever in my heart.   Rest On Lovie

Mrs. Lovie, I very vividly remember you at church, sharing the word of God with the youth. You always appeared so serious, yet your bright and beautiful smile was infectious. I’d never met anyone with a name that meant “love”, literally, but that was you, and what you shared with all whom you met. God will continue to bless your family as you travel to be with Him💕💚💕

I offer my sincerest condolence to the family of the late Mrs. Lovie Smith.  We were high school classmates, and also at NWJC in Senatobia. Through education and hard work Lovie achieved fruition to become a devoted school teacher. Her legacy will continue in the successes of the students she taught and nurtured.
