A woman of great faith and conviction she, along with her family, knew that death would not hold victory because the battle had already been won on the cross and all of Heaven waited to welcome her home. Lynne lived life with kindness, grace, dignity, and purpose. She loved her Savior, family dinners, trips to the lake, visits with her friends, working in her yard, and making her home a beautiful gathering place for her loved ones. A gracious friend to so many, a loving wife, a devoted mother, a proud grandmother and great grandmother...it was apparent to anyone who was blessed to know her, family meant everything!
Lynne was born on December 3rd, 1940 in Bermuda to Donavon and Lois Friesenbruch and she had 1 sister, Connie Feightner. She graduated from Bowling Green University and went on to teach school for several years before starting her family.
Lynne is survived by her husband Rudy; her children, Kim Watts, Kurt Herzke (Georgene), Kevin Herzke (Shelley); grandchildren, Jordan Watts (Ali), Luke Watts, Harrison Watts, Eli Watts, Kate Herzke, Emmie Herzke, Isabelle Herzke, Allie Reese Herzke, Ryan Herzke, and Rebecca Herzke; her great grandchildren Ellie Watts and Rudy Hayes Watts; her sister Connie Friesenbruch; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Joseph Santoso, his nurse Mary Crigger, and the staff at Baptist Womens Center for the excellent care, love, and support they have given us over the last 14 years. Our beloved Lynne is now enjoying the abundant life described in John 10:10
