Mackenzie grew up in the Memphis area and moved to Texas for several years, before returning back to Memphis. Mackenzie ran track through high school and held several records for her division in the state of Texas. Mackenzie was also an avid animal lover. Her fur babies were her dog, Harley, and two cats,
Quinn and Ivy. When she wasn’t loving on her animals, she was binge watching her favorite crime shows.
Her favorite flowers are sunflowers, she loved rainbow anything and was a huge fan of Cody Johsnon and
Carrie Underwood.
Mackenzie is survived by her loving mother Amy Frye: her soon-to-be step-father Brian Bowles, her great grandmother, Imogene Frye, her sister and brother-in-law Shelby and Patrick Reeves, and her nephew, Rowan Reeves.
Mackenzie’s life will be celebrated with a gathering for family, friends and supporters on Tuesday, November 15th from 5-8pm with a celebration of her life on Wednesday, November 16th starting at 11am all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Concluding the Celebration, burial with escorted procession will be at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 3700 N. Germantown Road, Memphis, TN 38133.
