Ron,
Please accept my condolences on the lost of your mother. Although I never had the pleasure to meet her personally, I know that you are a truly special man of high moral character. I am positive that is a reflection of how she raised you.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. VanHooks during my first meeting at Douglass Community Center as I joined the National Douglass Alumni Corporation. Her dedication to Douglass is commendable and more commendable because she shared these times with her husband as well. Please family be comforted in knowing that your loved one was a prepared for the place that Jesus has prepared. Jesus said it best that I go to prepare a place for you and if I go to prepare a place, I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am...there ye may be also.

Rest on Mother VanHooks !!
