Margaret Hyden Goetze

Margaret was a beautiful dancer and loved teaching Modern Dance when she was young. She performed in numerous plays & performances throughout her youth and university days. She loved being a mother and a grandmother even more, she valued her children and grandchildren very much. Margaret had the blessing of being married to the love of her life, Edmund Kurt Goetze, for 39 years who sadly predeceased her by 10 years. Margaret loved listening to her favorite music and singing along and she had the most beautiful singing voice. She also played piano when she was young. She was a member of the Episcopal Church and shared her faith lovingly to all who knew her. Her wonderful sense of humor was fueled by and rivaled by her extensive love for and grasp of the English language. She leaves behind 3 grown children with so many precious memories: Mark Hyden Dickinson, Hannah Dickinson Shoe and Paul David Dickinson, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A memorial service for Margaret will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Calvary Chapel Bartlett, 8587 Memphis Arlington Rd, Bartlett, TN 38133.
