Margaret Parker Massengill, 92, of Memphis, went to be with her Lord on January 12, 2013. She was an active member of Leawood Baptist Church. Margaret’s contagious smile and loving, unselfish ways will be cherished and missed by everyone who knew her. Mrs. Massengill was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Ivan V. Massengill, Jr. She is survived by 2 daughters, Trina Cullers (Herbert) of Greers Ferry, AR and Barbara Traylor (Jim) of Olive Branch, MS; and her son, Richard E. Massengill (Laurie) of Savannah, TN. Margaret was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue, and the visitation will begin at 1 p.m. The family requests any memorials be sent to Leawood Baptist Church Missions.
