Margaret Jean Smith-Mattox

Maragret Jean Smith-Mattox was born on May 16, 1952 to Edna Beatrice and Rancher Smith in Hernando MS. She transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly mansion on February 15, 2022. She was an outstanding homemaker, teacher, and entrepreneur. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, and son Roosevelt Mattox Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories her brothers (Quniton, Vincent, Johnny, Larry), her sisters (Carolyn, Glinnie, Valleaner), her children Mark Anthony (Leslie) Vernon, Jeffery (Penny) Mattox, Cynthia (Gary) Williams-Smith, grandchildren Brozate, Jessica, Terry, Ronald, Renaldo, and Tyrone Smith, Gabrielle and Gary Williams Jr, Alvin, Megan, and Ashle Gant, Roshundra and Precious Mattox. As well as a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Saturday March 19, 2022 from 9-10am with a funeral service to immediately follow at 10am all at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122.
