Margaret Bradley Thompson

Margaret Bradley Thompson, 97 went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2014. Born on June 26, 1917 in Memphis, TN, she was a member of Graceland Baptist Church and later Hope Baptist Church. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, O.D. Thompson; son, Tommy Thompson; parents, John and Ada Collins Bradley; three sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her sons, Mike Thompson and his wife, Sandra of Olive Branch, MS, Johnny Thompson of Southaven, MS; four grandchildren, Mike Thompson, Jr. of Olive Branch, MS, Michele Lynn Verkerk of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Mary Margaret Bonner of Walls, MS, Richard Thompson of AL; three great grandchildren, Kristin Thompson of Olive Branch, MS, Lauren Bonner and Darla Bonner both of Walls, MS and her best friend, Susan Mulligan. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 4 from 5-7 pm at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue. A graveside service will be held at 11 am at Memorial Park Cemetery in the mausoleum rotunda. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
