Marian Holland Brown, 89, passed away on April14, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Mr. Frank Martin Brown, two sisters Mayme Millstead, and Alma McQuay, and one brother Raymond Holland. She is survived by her daughter Vickie Brown Shackelford and husband Jim, and one grandson Jason Shackelford. Mrs. Brown will be remembered for her sweet southern charm, her love of animals, and her ability as a seamstress. She was retired from Goldsmith’s Oakcourt. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 18th from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. with the funeral services to follow at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Forrest Hill Midtown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donation be made to the “Caroline Morrell Memorial Scholarship” Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation, 3450 Founders Road Indianapolis, IN 46268.
