Mark W. (aka Angerhead) Kallaher, age 57, died Saturday evening. He was a life long Memphian who graduated from CBHS and attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Mark trained at the Memphis School of Culinary Arts and worked as a chef at a number of area restaurants. Football, cooking, and music were his great loves. Mark was a member of the CBHS 1977 state championship football team. He avidly followed his Vols' ups and downs through the years. As a chef, Mark excelled at blending herbs and spices to find a unique and often HOT flavor. He was best known to many in the Memphis music scene as Angerhead. Mark worked and sang with several alternative bands, including Metro Waste, at the Antenna Club. He is survived by his mother Delores; brother, William; sisters, Mary Ann and Dorothy; a nephew, nieces, and his beloved Ansel. The family will receive guests at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. on Wednesday evening from 5-7pm. A private burial at Calvary Cemetery will be held on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Church Health, 1350 Concourse Ave. #142, Memphis TN, www.churchhealth.org.
