Martha Louise Bennett Mace was born to Dave and Georgia Mae Bennett on April 30, 1942 in Brighton, TN. She is a graduate of Brighton High School, class of 1960. On December 17th 1960, Earl Mace made a promise to her father to spoil her rotten, which he did up until her mansion lined with streets of gold was completed on the morning of September 12, 2021 and Jesus called her home at the age of 79.
Martha was a member of The Apostolic Church of Millington. She was a full time housewife, momma, and Nana. She supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, reading her Bible and Amish Novels, and working puzzles on her Kindle.
Martha is survived in death by her husband, Earl Mace of 60 years and 10 months, two daughters, Carman Louise Quatrone and Sheila Renee Lewis; five grandkids - Brandi Nicole Ramsey (Karl), Justin Kyle Lewis (Paige), Joshua Edward Kinkade, Kassie Renee Lewis and Todd Jacob Lewis (Hannah): Five great grandchildren – Harlie Nicole Gentile, Jayden Michael Gentile, Macey Reagan Perry, Kayson James Jones, and Kylie Rose Lewis. She was looking forward to welcoming the first great-great granddaughter, Savannah Rose Gentile, in December. She leaves behind her eldest sister, Ruby Jean Bomar of Drummonds, TN and a slew of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Georgia Mae Bennett, eldest brother Buford Bennett, elder sister, Verna Landers and her son-n-love James Lewis III.
The visitation will be held at Family Funeral Care on Summer Ave Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral will be Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-East on Whitten Road.
Although, she loved flowers, she would ask, along with the family, that a donation be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
