Mary Ruth Dunlap

Mary Ruth Dunlap, 98, passed away December 20, 2020. She was born to John Langley and Mary Jane Hall Langley on July 17, 1922 in Guntown, Mississippi. She was a long time member of Wells Station Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling and playing softball.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jessie Mayes Dunlap and her nine siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Dunlap Norred (Curtis); son, Danny Mayes Dunlap (Janie); grandchildren, Bradley Dunlap, Christopher Dunlap, Kendall Bryant, Kim Barbee, Kelly Shank, Lainie Gilroy, and Shelby Norred; eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday January 28, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis. A private interment will be held at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
