Mary Francis Amagliani White, 67, of Bartlett passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 19, 2017. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. Many simply knew her as “Gran”. She was formerly a cheerleader with Sacred Heart Catholic School for Christian Brothers High School. Mary spent her working career in the private sector and government law offices within the Memphis area where she was currently Chief Executive Secretary to the Shelby County Attorney. In her earlier years she enjoyed cooking, loved snow skiing, playing tennis and going camping. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael Sr., and Helen Amagliani and is survived by her children, Shannon Caraway (Derek) and Mark Amagliani; siblings, Michael Amagliani, Jr, Helen Dunn and Kay Millington; grandchildren, Alden Caraway and Laymon Amagliani. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 23, 2017 at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN with the interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery-Memphis.
