Mary Belle Thompson, of Memphis, born August 15, 1921, died October 10, 2010 at her home. She was the widow of Calvin E. Thompson. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Madonna Circle and the Women's Auxiliary of the Lumberman's Club. She is survived by her five daughters, Betty Ann McCormick of Marietta, GA, Carol Van Hoozer, Susan Wunderlich and Lynn Thompson, all of Memphis, and Pam Erwin of Houston, TX; one son, Tommy Thompson of Memphis; four sons-in-law, Jim McCormick, David Van Hoozer, Kent Wunderlich and Jimmy Erwin and one daughter-in-law, Angela Thompson; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, October 14, from 11:30-1:00 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, Poplar Avenue with a private ceremony to follow.
