He loved Jesus and never missed an opportunity to tell you about his personal relationship with a Living God. Born and raised in Germantown, Mason graduated from the Bowie Reading and Learning Center. His passion for working with his hands was only matched by his unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Mason was studying to become a machinist when God called him home.
Mason loved all of God’s creatures great and small but reserved a special place in his heart for his hounds. When not surrounded by friends and family, Mason found refuge in the wilderness. Spending hours walking alone in the woods, Mason rejoiced in the splendor and beauty of God’s creation.
Mason’s family asks that you pray for them as he did daily: Bren and Leslie, Hollye, Bo and Brooke, Mitch and Amelia, Honey and Mac, Dorothy, Jenny and Isabel. Their grief is only measured against the joy his life gave them.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Memphis Funeral Home (5599 Poplar Avenue). A private service will be held for family.
