Mavis Scribner Zuckerman passed away on Wednesday July 8th. Mavis was born in Eupora, Mississippi on May 29, 1928 to Paul and Alma Scribner. She was a loving wife and mother and an amazing woman. As a committed member of the Temple Israel Sisterhood, she served as president of the Temple Israel charity Salon Circle on three separate occasions for a total of twelve years. The charity honored her in 1999 with the Volunteer of the Year award.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Marshall Aaron, her brother, Paul Scribner, Jr. and her sister Beatrice Sowell.
