Mel, I can’t believe I am writing this! It does not seem real. I wish I could go back in time. Getting to know you, having the opportunity to watch you as a wife and as a mother encouraged me. I am so thankful that God blessed  me to truly get to know your heart.  In our private times, you encouraged me on many levels. I wish I could have told you how much…  Growing up, I never really saw what a strong and loving marriage looked like, until I met you and Mr. Crawford. The love that you  had for each another was astounding. You exemplified on many levels what a wife  and a mother was through sacrifice.  I am so grateful for all of the advice you have given.My  prayer was that  you were going to beat this and we were going to take that vacation you mentioned! I feel so selfish but I was not ready to see you go. I know in my heart you fought! You will always be in my heart and I will hold on to what you have spoken into my life. Jamie and I will be sure that our children will hold on to the memory of their GiGi…. Rest in Love Mel
