I am so very thankful that the children and grandchildren we're able to spend time with Mel, around Christmas.. my heart goes out to his wife and children and the rest of the family

Mel was always ready to give out big bear hugs with a huge smile. I will miss his laugh and how he always would answer his dear wife Bettie with, 'yes dear".

Mel, was a funny, loving, sweet man. My childhood memories of my weekends always included Mel, Jen and Jeffrey as some function with PWP.   May god take him into his arms as the others left here broken hearted to hold eachother.  My heart goes out to his wife, and children,

Mel died Saturday morning suddenly at his home. Mel was born in Lancaster PA 7/8/46. Served our country in the Navy. He retired from Sedgwick 1/1/2014. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, Pop-pop, a devoted and a Parrothead.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00  2:00 pm on Saturday, February 3rd at Memphis Funeral Home.

I'm still in shock but prayers for the entire family. Mel was a wonderful man and will be missed. My condolences to the family. may he RIP.
