Michael E. Harbison, 56, of Memphis, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013. He was a graduate of Kingsbury High School and attended Memphis State. Michael grew up attending St. Stephens United Methodist Church and for the last several years was a communicant of Hope Presbyterian Church. He retired from Sharp Manufacturing Co. and Dow Electronics. Michael was an avid sportsman loving to play baseball and especially golf. He was preceded in death by his father Ed Harbison. Michael leaves his mother Patricia Harbison, his sister Teresa Byars (Mike), a niece Tricia Byars, a nephew Greg Byars (Autumn), and a host of loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., on Monday, January 21, with funeral services to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, all to be held at Family Funeral Care with interment in Memphis Memory Gardens.
