Michael Richard Herbert, age 53 of Memphis, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in Memphis. He was born May 17, 1959 in Memphis to Jim and Frances Herbert. Mr. Herbert played baseball and graduated from CBHS and CBU. He was a member of the TSSAA Officials Association, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He was survived by his parents, Jim and Frances Herbert; daughter, Sarah Herbert; son, Michael Herbert; sister Missy Buckley (Kevin). Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Family Funeral Care, located on Summer Avenue. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1 PM till service time. Interment will be private.
