Looking back over our lives that have untwined since the day we were born I realized that we enriched each other’s life in more ways than I could possibly express. I love you man.

Sara, so sorry about your dad. Glad you got to spend time with him before he passed. When I told Rick about him passing, he just cried. So sorry we couldn't come but I know you understand. He can't go anymore. You will be in our prayers this Christmas. 

My deepest Condolences to Jean and Family.   Mike was certainly a wonderful person to get to know. I remember the first day on the job in Alcorn  County he walked in the Sheriffs Dept.  He was very by the book don’t break the rules kind of guy.  The biggest thing I remember his Mikes brown bag lunch he brought each day lol and how Mean and Tough he would act with his clients from the criminal side I thought Lord he will never fit in in this Town or Sheriffs Dept but he quickly became friends with us all of us.  I remember when he and Jean met and started dating and when Bree came along and the great joy and love for his family.  He loved to work and probably did too much of it but it is hard to consider yourself working if you do what you Love and Mike was passionate about his career.  I member his warm smile and twinkle in his eye and the way he would tilt his head back and the sound of his Laugh.  I am so sad you were called home too early and will be fondly remembered.  Love you Jean Larue.

When you work with and have been friends with as long as I have with Mike it is difficult to express in words how I remember mike. I can say mike loved God,he loved his family ,he loved his friends and he loved his country. Mike was one of the most honest,dedicated and caring person that I had the honer of knowing. Mike will always have a special place in my heart and I miss him so much. I know I will see him again some day but for now Rest In Peace my friend. God bless his family

Mike was one of a kind! Gave good advice, smart and funny..  Mike was Santa to my first granddaughter.. Mike will be missed by many    RIP Mike LaRue

I remember when I was about 8 I received a package in the mail, how excited I was. When I opened the package it was little figurines of my favorite show, The Jungle Book. I went running to where our Mom was, trying to thank her. She told me she hadn't gotten them, Mike had. Those figurines became my prized possession because my beloved big brother had gotten them for me. I wish he and I had been close as adults. My sympathies go out to his family and friends.
