
Michael Dean Peugh, 70, of Germantown, TN passed away October 5, 2017 after a short stay in Methodist Germantown Hospital. He was born February 16, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio. Michael was the son of Dean Peugh and Irma Peugh Loose. Michael graduated from Worthington High School in 1965. He attended Ohio State University and was a graduate of Columbus Technical Institute. Michael served in the US Army in Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart. Michael and his beloved wife, Susan, were married 41 years. Michael was a FedEx retiree and a faculty member of Mid-South Community College. His love of reading and learning inspired him to volunteer as a tutor with the Memphis Literacy Council. He was an avid hobbyist and fan of model trains, RC airplanes and Formula 1 racing.
Michael is preceded in death by both his parents and his stepfather, Edmund Loose. Surviving in addition to his wife, Susan Peugh, are his daughter, Michelle Willis (William), his son, Matthew Peugh (Katherine), his grandchildren, Cameron Willis and Madeline Willis, and his brother, Thomas Peugh (Mary). A Celebration of Life Open House will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike, Germantown, TN 5:00-8:00PM.
