Mike Pittman was a wonderful, honest man to do business with. I am honored to have known him. 🌷🕊

We were in Memphis last year. We decided to go to the barbecue celebration.
We didn't realize that it was judgment day.
We were very disappointed in that we weren't told at the gate we wouldn't be able to get into any tastings(a blessing in disguise).
Then we met Mike!
He changed our whole experience.
He brought us into his tent explained his barbecue process and that he was turning it over to his son?
A very kind and generous man.
We ate some, drank beer, had samples of his incredible barbecue sauces.
When we left he handed us a couple bottles of his barbecue sauce, some koozies,a really sharp embroidered towel ( hanging in our kitchen) and a couple more beers for the walk back to our car.
I unsuccessful googled him a few times trying to thank him for his kindness and generosity.
Today I was saddened to find he passed.

Mike was a man of his word and he was the best.  He renovated our kitchen and bathroom and yes they are beautiful. I will always remember Mike and his kindness to us.


Mike was one of the kindest and most generous men that we have had the privilege of knowing for over 16 years.  He had a sweet and giving heart for people and would always show random acts of kindness to those around him.  He lit up a room with his smile and laugh, and was a man that made sure you knew how thankful he was for your friendship, or business.   

Every time I talked to Mike he would always brag about his family and was such a proud husband and father.  He loved his wife Tina and would always talk about how lucky he was to have her.  He would light up when we would talk about his son Dalton who I have also had the privilege of working with for many years.   He was so proud of his family.   Mike was one of the hardest workers I have ever seen and would go above and beyond to make people proud of his work.   

My heart is broken for the loss of this great man and hurts for the pain his family is feeling.  I pray that sweet memories fill their minds and help bring some peace to them this week and in the days to come.   Mike is in heaven right now with no pain and probably bragging to his mom and dad of stories of his family.  Pittman family, our prayers and thoughts are with you during this hard time. From the first time I met Mike I considered him a good friend. He was always there to provide a helping hand or offer assistance.
