I only got to know Mike well for the past couple years. We bonded over our favorite music artists and songs. My favorite memory from 2019 was attending the Dream Theater concert at Graceland in October with him. We explored the museum complex before the show and he loved it. A Graceland employee liked his outfit and took a picture with him next to one of Elvis' outfits. I took this photo at the museum. His favorite football team was the Green Bay Packers and he was thrilled to see this helmet in Elvis' collection. He will be truly missed by all who got to know him.

Michael Privett was my uncle. I grew up in nj/pa but always went to Memphis TN every Christmas to spend time with my grandparents and my uncle. He was and still to me is known as uncle Mike. I always loved spending time with uncle Mike and loved it when he took me out to the mall or out to see a movie. We had alot of the same interest. Till the end he was a big kid. I can relate as someone who is in my 30s and i still love star wars/superhero's, video games and cartoons myself. What i always remember about uncle mike besides being a big kid was how he was not shy at all. He loved to talk to the family, get in a conversation with someone and loved having someone to talk to. He was a big jokester as well. My last phone call I had with uncle Mike I could hardly get any words in. I kept trying to tell him about some things i was up to at the moment but never got the chance to. He had so much to say I just wanted to listen. What i always loved about talking to uncle Mike was how we can have serious conversations about whats going on with us, life and the world and the next minute talk about star wars, movies or music. He was always very fun to talk to. One of the first movies i remember seeing with uncle Mike was "Oliver and Company". It came out in 89, I was 6 years old. I can also remember seeing "The Little Mermaid" the next year with him and then "Beauty And The Beast" the year after. I remember being little and loved playing Nintendo games with uncle Mike. I loved when he let me go to his room to play the latest Nintendo game. The last time we talked he told me he loved me and I said it back. I am so glad we had that talk now looking back at it. Uncle Mike cared about his family and loves all of us. He will be very missed and i know certain things will come up in the future that will make me think of some great times we had together. Till we meet again in Heaven.

I only met Mike about 7 or 8 months ago thru a mutual friend but he and I shared a common bond. We are both Pisces and actually were born the same day and year, March 6, 1970. We went by his house that day and spent some time to celebrate our 50th birthdays. He was a kind soul and will be greatly missed. I hope his family finds comfort knowing he is no longer suffering or in pain.
