Mr. Michael S Ritter

Michael S. Ritter, 60, of Germantown passed away Sunday, October 3 at the Regional Medical Center-Memphis. He was retired from the U.S. Marine Corp and the U.S. Army, active with the MDA and Kings Daughters and Sons Home in Bartlett. The family would like to acknowledge their appreciation to the staff at The Med Trauma Unit for all they did for Mr. Ritter. Mr. Ritter was preceded in death by his wife Delores Ritter; daughter, Michelle Ritter-Scearce; and is survived by his daughter, Kim Ritter Spencer (Rod) of Cordova; sisters, Barbara Ballard and Pauline Ritter; brothers, Ronnie, Joey and Rickey Ritter; grandchildren, Katie, Kellie, Kerri and Kevin; his former wife, Toni Ritter, her mother, Mildred Ransom and her brother, Rick Ransom. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 pm, Wednesday, October 6, 2010 and a funeral service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, October 7, 2010 both at Family Funeral Care-Memphis with the interment to follow at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery-Memphis. The family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Research Hospital.
