Morgan Patricia Shea Bryant, age 30, passed away on May 12, 2026. Born on November 16, 1995, in Tampa, Florida, Morgan was raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Morgan’s life was marked by a steady courage, a kind heart, and a bright, unmistakable beauty—qualities that drew people close and stayed with them long after a conversation ended.
Morgan attended Holy Rosary Catholic School and St. Benedict at Auburndale High School, later graduating from Gould's Cosmetology and Esthetics School. With a creative spirit and an eye for what could be made more vibrant, Morgan carried artistry into the world in ways both seen and felt.
An athlete in middle school and high school, Morgan remained connected to the sports she loved and later coached volleyball, offering encouragement with both strength and warmth. Morgan was also deeply artistic and loved to paint, finding expression in color and form. Music and bowling brought joy and ease, and Morgan’s humor—quick, memorable, and perfectly timed—could lighten a room and steady a moment when it mattered most.
Morgan enjoyed spending time with friends and family and will be missed by many. In true Morgan fashion, a favorite line captured the blend of resolve and wit that so many came to cherish: “Suck it up, buttercup!”
Morgan is survived by mother, Mary Nelson Bryant; father, Marc Randall Bryant; sisters, Megan Parker (Christopher) and Marcy Bryant; brother, Matthew Bryant; grandmother, Jane Nelson; and nieces, Sophia Grace Parker and Abigail Blake Parker.
The family will receive friends at a visitation on Friday, May 22 from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 4851 Park Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 23 at 11:00 AM, also at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 4851 Park Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee. A celebration of life will immediately follow, in the family room at Holy Rosary.
