Ms. Nora Jean Goodman Gullett, 85, of Millington, Tennessee, died Tuesday, December 5. Visitation and services will be Monday, December 11 beginning at 10am at Family Funeral Care with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Gullett graduated from Treadwell High School in 1956, and later became an administrative assistant for the Life Insurance Company of Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Tailor Gullett, Jr. (1978). They had four children, John Tailor Gullett, III, Betty Lynn Franklin (1987), Marilyn Jean Gullett Goad, and Steven Charles Gullett. She also had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis Levi Goodman, Sr. and Mildred R. Goodman, and her brother Willis Levi Goodman, Jr.
In her retired years she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to the movies, shopping, and collecting dolls. She was intentional about supporting local charities, and was a regular supporter of the Memphis Union Mission.
Throughout her life she leaned heavily on her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a longtime member of Berclair Baptist Church and enjoyed being active in the church choir. She loved to sing the old hymns, and was heard singing them the day she saw Jesus face to face.

A committal service will occur Monday, December 11, 2023, at 12:30 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119.
