Osby Brown Riley, age 92, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was born June 13, 1931 in Ridgely, Tennessee to Sydney Riley and Lilly Riley. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Bell South after 28 years. He enjoyed watching the Memphis Tigers, Grizzlies, and the University of Tennessee Vols. He was a member of Woodland Hills Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha Riley; children, Rachel Riley, Rebecca Riley, and Jonathan Riley (Janice); and grandchildren, Hayden Riley, Rayne Riley, Merlin Riley, and Samara Riley. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Margaret, Edwin, Bernice, and Laverne.
The family will receive friends at visitation on Wednesday, July 5 beginning at 11:00 AM until the funeral service celebrating his life at 12:00 Noon, at Woodland Hills Church of Christ, 10011 Woodland Hills Drive, Cordova, TN 38018.
