Patricia Ruth Harbison, age 88, of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Patrica was born in Memphis, TN on July 10, 1933 to James F. and Rozelma Webb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Harbison and her son, Michael Harbison.
Patricia married Thomas Edward Harbison on February 6, 1953. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Patsy attended A. B. Hill Elementary, South Side High where she graduated in 1951 as the salutatorian of her class and a graduate of Memphis State. She worked for Walk Jones Architect until she had children. After raising her children, she worked as a financial secretary for St. Stephen's United Methodist Church. Patsy was a member of St. Stephens United Methodist Church for over 60 years where she taught Sunday School and served with the United Methodist Women. She was an avid cross-stitcher and quilter and she loved crafts, especially when working with the children at church.
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Tim) McCaskill; two sisters, Mary Roselyn Webb and Cheryl (Charles) Webb Page; two grandchildren, Greg (Autumn) Byars and Patricia (Neil) Byars; four great grandchildren, Anna, Ella, Zoey and Noah.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm with services to follow at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. The interment will be at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, TN 38134 immediately following the service.
